Selecting a single word in Excel

If you are editing a sentence or a heading and you need to replace a single word there is a quick and easy way to do it.

Simply point to the word, double click the left mouse button, type the new word and press Enter – done. See image below.

Note: there is also a triple click in Excel. It selects all the contents of a cell in one step – useful for copying formulas between cells without the references changing.
