Make the Shift

When you are moving images, charts or other objects that float above the grid you can use the Shift key to make it easier.When you hold the Shift key down as you use the mouse to drag the images, you can move them perfectly to the right or left or perfectly up or down.

Its like the image is on rails and maintains its alignment – check out the video below.

Don’t forget you can use the Alt key and it “snaps to” the underlying grid to make it easier to line things up – also demonstrated in the video.

You can’t move the image too much outside the range though, as it will stop the effect.
