I recently had an error pop up when working with a client’s file. The client’s file had a macro that would hide most of the columns on the sheet, but it had started to generate an error message.
A similar structure to the file can be seen in the image below.

As you can see the combo box drop down is slightly going into column D. That is what caused the problem. Hiding all the columns from D across will generate the error below.

If an object, image, or a graphic is showing above a certain column you have to ensure that the spreadsheet has enough room to display that graphic.
