We’ve all been there, our charts are looking just right and then some one inserts a column or changes the column width and throws out all our perfectly proportioned charts.You can stop that from happening. This tip applies to other graphic objects like images or text boxes.
If you right click and choose format the object, there is a Size & Properties icon. Under that there is a Properties section – see image below.
There is an option Don’t move or size with cells.
This will keep your chart (or other object) safe from column or row changes.
